WEST VALLEY BASED MANUFACTURING COMPANY SEEKS HR SPECIALIST FOR 14 TO 16 WEEKS (Maternity Leave Coverage.)


 


Corporate Job Bank is immediately seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist for our client located in the West Valley.

Our client is looking for a skilled HR Assistant / Generalist to focus on leave administration, recruitment/onboarding scheduling and coordination, and reporting.


 


Compensation is targeted in the $20 per hour range based upon overall experience and knowledge.


 


 


Responsibilities include:


·         Assisting to administer of leave programs including PTO, FMLA, Disability, Medical, and Workers Compensation


·         Responsible for maintaining employee files and other HR records.


·         Processing of benefit changes, terminations, COBRA, etc


·         Disciplinary, grievance and seniority entry and reports


·         Process new hires and transfers


·         Coordination of a variety of onsite services


·         Employment verifications (hourly VOE’s)


·         Filing/HR Form Center Maintenance


·         Wellness tracking and education


·         Sending HR related documents and correspondence


·         Assist with periodic file audits


·         Supporting HR staff and 800+ staff at two facilities


Required Qualifications :

Requirements:



  •  High School Diploma and 3 to 5 years of HR Administration OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an HR related discipline and 6+ months of related experience

  • Previous high-volume benefits administration experience a must.

  • Previous experience in leave administration a must.

  • Experience supporting and managing a unionized workforce a plus.

  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.

  • Demonstrated excellence in time management skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and organize work.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
