Job Description :
Corporate Job Bank has an immediate need for a Production Equipment Operator for a client in the west valley.  


Interested candidates will be able to work 12 hour shifts and must be flexible to work alternate weekends, and overtime.  


Scheduled Hours - 6PM - 6AM on a rotating schedule 

$13.00 per hour

Dress Code:  Jeans, collar tab t-shirt, tennis shoes/closed toe and heel

These positions are temp to hire.  Our client offers training and a safe work environment.


To operate all assigned machines producing quality product at optimum efficiency with a minimum amount of scrap. This is accomplished by analyzing, troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of the molding machines and related equipment. This is a safety sensitive position which requires any routine or major repair work to be performed using the LOTO specific to the equipment.

General Responsibilities

  • Must follow safety guidelines at all times.

  • Must follow all, GMP, HACCP and Safe Quality Food guidelines at all times.

  • Must observe high standards of personal hygiene

  • Troubleshoot and maintain cup machines molds.

  • Perform minor repairs and troubleshoot all quality defective products being produced.

  • Continually monitor the quality of the cups being produced and make minor machine adjustments or repairs to ensure product quality.

  • Perform the required Quality checks throughout the shift on your assigned lines

  • Meet required mold capacity standards by ensuring all functioning molds are producing cups.

  • Use the appropriate safety devices and LOTO while working on any cup machines.

  • Always work in a safe manner observing all Plant and Department Safety Procedures and report any unsafe conditions to the Supervisor.

  • Maintain good housekeeping practices in all areas.

  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Required Qualifications :


  • High school diploma or equivalent experience of 3 years or more in manufacturing equipment or other relevant experience.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

  • Mechanical reasoning and ability to trouble shoot machinery.

  • Ability to work in tight and elevated spaces; work on your feet for prolonged periods of time.

  • Ability to work in hot environment for prolonged periods of time.

  • Punctuality and reliability, schedule flexibility, and weekend availability required

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus

  • Good sense of priority management and organization

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to work well with a team and individually

Physical Demands:

  1. Work an 12+ hour shift while sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, grasping, use hands to finger, grasp with hands and arms, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and lifting throughout the entire shift.

  2. Requires the manual movement of cases of finished goods that weight up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

  1. Exposed to extreme heat. In-doors in a manufacturing environment that is not air conditioned.

  2. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles

  3. Wear PPE while working, which includes hairnet, hearing protection and safety glasses with side guards and steel toe shoes/boots

  4. Work an 12+ hour day shift

  5. Able to work weekdays, weekends and overtime.


Education – High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience – Three (3) years in a manufacturing environment.

Skills – Basic computer skills. Basic Math skills. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to function with minimal direction. Must be able to effectively communicate in English both oral and written.


A drug test and thorough background check (criminal history) will be conducted prior to placement.  A criminal history is NOT an automatic bar to employment with this client but will be considered like many other factors
