Job Description :
Corporate Job Bank has an immediate need for a Business Operations Specialist in this position you will performs a broad scope of fiscal and business duties and provides guidance to staff and/or faculty in support of our clients policy and procedures. This position assists with the business operations functions of post-award financial accounting and administrative support for sponsored, local, and state accounts.  These functions may include basic budgeting, accounting, payroll, staffing, academic services, grant services, and other functions designated by unit administrator. The ideal candidate for this position will be someone that enjoys being part of a collaborative team environment supporting directly, researchers who are making globally impact advances in research. They should be someone that has a high level of attention to detail, is looking to grow a career in a profession with various opportunities for growth, demonstrates excellent customer service skills, values continuous improvement, and enjoys complex problem solving.
Required Qualifications :


  • Works independently and exercises professional judgment to serve as a knowledgeable and helpful resource

  • Keep up to date on our clients policies and procedures and to ensure accurate output and processing

  • Assist with maintaining department Purchasing Cards (P-Cards), including daily management, document retention and monthly reconciliation

  • Ordering of supplies and processing payments using department Purchasing Cards (P-Cards) through our clients Financial Management System

  • Assist with redistribution for payroll or account charges using PeopleSoft and our clients Financial Management System.

  • Perform bi-weekly payroll reconciliations

  • Responds to inquiries in a timely manner using effective interpersonal communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and methods as appropriate to address questions and/or concerns

  • Works under deadlines, manages multiple responsibilities and duties, with interruptions, and in unclear and/or changing situations


Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
