Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Demonstrate knowledge of Logistics profession including standard warehouse set up and management.
- MS Office experience, specifically Excel.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & listening) and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced using a forklift and pallet jacks.
- Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize daily work and meet all internal and external deadlines.
- 5 years of experience in transportation, warehousing, and/or distribution environment.
Duties:
- Accurate reading and execution of customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders, determining items to be moved, gathered or distributed, and/or shipped.
- Accuracy and accountability in both receiving and shipping of materials for all customers.
- Cross-check all related paperwork or documents for discrepancies and quickly resolve them based on internal and external expectations.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or relocates orders to a holding area or shipping department.
- Ensuring all employees and visitors entering the warehouse are wearing the proper safety equipment and security badges at all times.
- Organizes the warehouse and work areas for orderliness, safety, and security at all times.
- Accuracy and accountability in both receiving and shipping of materials for all customers.
- 1st Shift, 6: 00 AM - 2: 30 PM
- Some Overtime
- Temp to Hire
