Job Description
LEVEL 2 Sheet Metal Bench Operator needed immediately! Corporate Job Bank is looking for hardworking, motivated Sheet Metal Bench Operators in the Phoenix area for one of the largest Aerospace manufacturing companies.
Pay: $24-32/hr (Paid Weekly)
Shift: Monday - Friday 1st and 2nd shifts available
Location: 39th Ave & Indian School
Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete Deburr operation per work order callout
Complete any paperwork associated with their work instructions or job function.
Perform work in all areas of shop as designated by supervision on an as needed basis.
Keep work area clean at all times (5 S s)
Perform advanced precision deburring of metals
Use hand tools
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Acceptable aptitudes and communication skills
Minimum Vision requirements; Near and far vision of 20/30 in both eyes corrected or uncorrected
Manuel dexterity to handle small delicate parts and hand held standard measuring equipment at the same time
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Excellent communication and cooperation
Preferred Specialized Training:
Height gage, Digital Calipers, Micrometers, Polishing/Deburr, Bench Grinder, Bead Blaster, Disc Sander and Belt Sander - Experience with assembly and sheet metal who can use tools similar to a handheld Dremel tool is a plus (i.E. Auto body work, nail technician, metal working, etc.)
