SUMMARY:
The Customer Care Representative is responsible for handling customer inquiries and communication through telephone calls, fax, email, and mail. They will assist customers with paying their accounts by recommending available payment plans or discounts.
SKILLS:

- Professional communicator via phone
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Ability to type 40 wpm
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of medical billing processes or healthcare billing guidelines is preferred
- Excellent telephone etiquette and customer-focused mindset
- Proficient in PCs and patient accounting systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Ability to handle a large volume of work, organized, and detail-oriented
DUTIES:
- Answer incoming and outgoing customer service telephone calls, updating account information and resolving issues during the initial call while adhering to compliance and internal protocols.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, answer questions, and handle customer complaints within the account management system.
- Review correspondence received through mail, email, or the website and take appropriate action for resolution.
- Follow corporate policy and procedures.
THE COMPANY:
- Our client is a healthcare solutions company with divisions focusing in revenue cycle management, analytics, patient engagement, and practice services.
TYPE:
- Full time.
- Direct Hire.
COMPENSATION:
- $16.25 to $18.00 per hour depending on skills and experience.
- Skilled and experienced Revenue Cycle Specialists will earn a competitive wage.
LOCATION:
- This is a work-from-home position but may require occasional onsite presence at the client's location near Pima and Via De Ventura in East Scottsdale.
