Tempe, AZ 85281 (Priest Dr & Broadway Rd)


Summary
I am currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer to join the team at one of the most prominent consulting engineering firms in the Intermountain West, providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and civil engineering services in 33 states since 1972. In addition to regularly working on projects for industrial plants, educational facilities, multi-family structures, and commercial office & retail space, the firm has made a name for itself in new, technology-driven markets, having completed numerous high-profile LEED Certified and Net Zero projects for Olympic facilities, research laboratories, hospitals, cogeneration plants, etc. They have a true passion for the work that they do and have fostered a thriving culture of collaborative communication, learning, and growth and provide their employees with individualized succession planning, exceptional benefits, and highly competitive compensation packages.


  • Base Salary: Currently offering a base salary that ranges between 75-105k or more, based on experience.
  • Additional Compensation: Annual bonus, based on company profits + Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP)

Qualifications/Requirements
  • High School Diploma plus 2 or more years of related experience at minimum . Technical, Associate, or BA Degree and E.I.T Certification are preferred, not required .
  • 2+ years of Mechanical (HVAC) and/or Plumbing Layout/Design experience.
  • 2+ years of AutoCAD & Revit experience.
  • 2+ years of experience producing construction documents for use by project contractors.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist in the design process through all phases of a project from concept to completion.
  • Previous experience working with multidisciplinary engineering firms is preferred, not required.
  • Dependable, highly motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with multidisciplined teams.


Job Summary
Mechanical Designers will collaborate with multidisciplined engineers and project teams and contribute to the full design process through all phases of a project from concept to completion. In addition, Mechanical Designers will be responsible for producing construction documents for use by project contractors.
