Skills:

Must be able to proficiently operate molding machines, conveyance equipment, robots, and auxiliary equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
Troubleshoots and locates the source of the problem.
Consult OEM manuals to identify proper machine specific procedures.
Repair and maintain electrical controls on equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and report/correct all unsafe working conditions.

Requirements:

Technical degree preferred or equivalent technical experience (3-5 Years) in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good personal leadership and organization skills.
Ability to read schematics.
High School Diploma

Duties:

Lead and Coordination with Tooling Engineer all phases of mold rebuilding
Schedule and perform in press mold preventive maintenance
Clean and maintain mold and components using standard cleaning solvents and alcohol, inspect mold components for wear and damage
Measure steel parts using calipers, micrometers, and indicators
Maintain a documentation system to coordinate mold repairs and mold transfers to other locations.
Maintain the parts inventory for mold.
Coordinate the mold repairs with vendors.
