SUMMARY:

This role involves performing various tasks to support machine repair, including welding processes such as MIG, stick electrode, and brazing. The responsibilities also include positioning and fitting components, securing parts for welding, and repairing products through disassembly and reassembly. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, reading blueprints, and coordination with team members.

SHIFT:

Monday - Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM

PAY:

$22-25 per hour

LOCATION:

Baseline & Cooper

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Utilizing welding processes like MIG, stick electrode, and brazing.
  • Positioning and fitting components together.
  • Securing parts in place for welding using bolts, clamps, and tack welds.
  • Repairing products by disassembling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
  • Reading blueprints or following verbal instructions for repairs and fabrication.
  • Coordinating work tasks with team members in the department and other departments for efficient information flow.
  • Ensuring a harassment-free workplace by following current laws and organizational policies.
  • Cooperating, participating, and supporting internal policies for risk management, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting relevant information to the immediate supervisor as requested or according to an established schedule.
  • Compiling necessary data and providing it to appropriate personnel.
  • Responding to inquiries from customers, colleagues, etc., within specified time frames and according to established policies.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication.
  • Need to be 3G Certified.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Proficient in the use of welding equipment and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in fabrication work.
  • Good understanding of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as needed.
