Wage: 

$19-$20/hour.

Position Overview:

Under close supervision, this role supports the clinics and healthcare professionals that order prosthetics and orthotics from our clients.  The Customer Service Representative interfaces with external customers (clinicians and clinics) to manage and expedite service orders. The position acts as a liaison between service and production teams to clarify orders, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery.




Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
  • Primary Role: Support production and service teams by entering and verifying work orders from various sources (mail, emails, phone calls, drop-offs).
  • Clinician Interaction: Communicate with clinicians and clinics to determine and update order status and expedite services as needed.
  • Order Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to order shipment delays, production status, and other delivery concerns.
  • Data Entry: Enter data from source documents into office computer systems with high accuracy.
  • Customer Support: Provide additional support to the frontline team by answering telephones, responding to emails, and entering work orders as required.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned.




Knowledge and Skill:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of call center experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Less than 1 year of related experience in production or service environments.
  • Medical Terminology: Basic knowledge is required, with a preference for candidates who possess an understanding of healthcare systems.
  • Data Entry Skills: Solid data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy.
  • Communication: Ability to build internal relationships with production teams and manage external customer inquiries.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
