I am currently seeking a highly knowledgeable, OSHA certified Construction Safety & Compliance Manager to join one of the fastest growing companies in its field, that has established themselves as Arizona’s premier steel fabricator & erector for industrial & commercial ground-up construction projects.   • Base Salary: 80-95k, DOE.
  • Additional Compensation: Discretionary annual performance, based on individual performance & company profit, company truck and gas card, 401k 4% match, and more.

  • BA or Trade Degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent at minimum.
  • 4+ years of construction safety management & training.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing site safety for commercial steel construction projects.
  • OSHA 10 and/or 30 certified.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, & enforce safety compliance guidelines/programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA & EPA guidelines/standards.
  • AISC Compliance knowledge is highly preferred.

Job Duties
  • Conducting safety inspections to identify potential hazards in the workplace, including unsafe working conditions or equipment failure.
  • Developing, implementing, and administering safety programs.
  • Training employees on safety protocol and procedures.
  • Ensuring that all safety equipment and supplies are in good condition and readily available for use.
  • Coordinating with outside contractors to ensure that work sites comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
  • Coordinating with other departments on matters pertaining to construction & manufacturing site safety.
  • Conducting investigations into accidents or near misses to determine the cause and make recommendations for preventing future incidents from occurring.
  • Developing plans for emergency evacuations of workers from job sites in case of fire or other hazards.
  • Training supervisors on safety procedures and regulations so they can provide effective leadership to their teams.
