The Bulk Manufacturing Technician is responsible for creating different cosmetic products while following specific quality standards and rules called cGMP protocols. They work independently and as part of a team.
Their job involves using a batch sheet to get the raw materials needed to make the products. They measure, record, and process the materials as instructed. They also help maintain the facilities, inventory of raw materials and supplies, equipment, and assist other departments when needed.

SHIFT:
- Monday through Friday from 630 am to 3: 00 pm.
PAY:
- $20+ per hour DOE
LOCATION:
- City: Phoenix

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Following safety procedures, protocols, and grounding and bonding practices.
- Working in an explosion-proof workspace with flammable, corrosive, and acidic materials.
- Manufacturing products that meet quality standards and comply with cGMP protocols.
- Practicing proper sanitation and hygiene techniques when handling materials and equipment.
- Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Accurately measuring and recording materials on batch sheets.
- Assisting in maintaining inventory levels for raw materials and consumables.
- Performing inspections to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment using proper guidelines.
- Transferring bulk products into appropriate containers.
- Operating and maintaining specialized equipment and performing basic repairs.
- Training new technicians and assisting in developing SOPs.
- Maintaining waste compactor and hazardous waste in mixing bays.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Comfortable working with and around chemicals.
- Good mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining heavy equipment.
- Capable of working with little or no supervision.
- Mixing principles and fluid mechanics knowledge.
- Basic chemical knowledge.
- Forklift certified.
- Familiar with lean manufacturing concepts.
- Operating within cGMP guidelines.
- Chemical Manufacturing experience.
- Manufacturing or Production experience.
- Chemical handling experience.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience.
- Knowledge of inventory movements and transactions.
- Lifting, bending and stooping up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math computation abilities.
- Working knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents at the level of the work being performed.
- Able to take verbal and written instructions.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Must be organized and able to multitask.
