LOCATION:
- Goodyear (Loop 303 and Indian School)
SKILLS:
- Press Brake
- Fabrication
- Blueprint reading
- Sheers
- Shop Math
- Quality tools such as micrometers, calipers, and sheers
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation to the job site (this site is not yet accessible via bus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and other industrial diagrams
- Prior experience with quality tools (micrometers, calipers, and gauges)
- Good with shop math (can work in both fractions and decimals)
- Able to determine approximate angles
JOB DUTIES:
- Fabricating parts out of stainless-steel sheet metal using a brake press, punch press, and sheers.
- Quality control ensuring product is within specification (GDT)
- Safety
- Cutting of stainless-steel sheet metal using a laser turret or water jet
COMPENSATION:
- $19.00 per hour while working through the agency.
- $23.16 per hour to start. $23.66 after 30 shifts.
- A retention bonus of $1500 after 60 days hired on.
- The annual bonus of up to $2080.
- Lots of overtime.
- 1st year anticipated gross in the $58, 000 to $61, 000 range.
SCHEDULE:
- 2nd Shift: 2pm to 10pm Monday through Friday (train on 1 st shift for several weeks.)
- 3 rd Shift: 10pm to 6am Sunday through Thursday (train on 1 st shift for several weeks.)
